On the eve of the New Year, TON Diamonds announced the launch of the TON Gifts project.
A team of independent developers will launch the TON Gifts service on The Open Network (TON) blockchain. The service will allow sending NFT gifts in the Telegram messenger.
The service is developed on the TON blockchain and works through a bot. Users will be able to generate unique gifts in the form of a Christmas tree, a snowman, a symbol of 2023, a black rabbit, or a bouquet of flowers. In addition, they will have the option to send any amount of Toncoin or NFT from the TON Diamonds platform in an animated box.
In order to create and send a gift, the user needs to launch the bot in Telegram and the messenger application in the browser. After that, you need to choose one of the offered gifts, generate a unique NFT and send TON. Then the user will need to sеlect a gift recipient from the contact list in the messenger, pay for it in TON and send it.
In addition, TON will launch the Toncoin raffle. The winner will be chosen at random.

In addition to launching NFT gifts, Telegram developers are preparing to introduce several decentralized tools for cryptocurrency trading and storage. According to the founder of the messenger, Pavel Durov, in just five weeks, the team’s developers created Fragment, a fully decentralized auction platform based on TON. The platform has been an incredible success, selling $50 million worth of usernames in less than a month.
Also in autumn, the messenger launched an auction of short names similar to domain names. The minimum starting price for a 4-letter lot was 10,000 TON, but for some lots the price reached record highs. Later, messenger users had the opportunity to buy and sell short nicknames through the platform. Nickname trading is available not only for personal accounts, but also for publics and groups. Ownership of nicknames is stored in the TON registry.
